Wedding planning
Once you have recovered from the dream state that finding yourself engaged, take a deep breath, open up your PDA or notebook, dust off your address book, and start the countdown to your big day! At first thinking about how to plan for your big day can be daunting and scary, so try a bit a deep breathing and slowly release it. Planning your wedding is no different from planning that big socal get together of holiday or birthday parties in the past. Just think about what is needed for the day: church, minister, tux/dress, flowers, wedding party, guests, music, reception hall, decorations, DJ, food, and invitations.
Close your eyes and picture what you want your day to look like and the atmosphere. This will help you decide whether or not you want inside or out, church or JP, big or small. Start with where you want the wedding held, where the reception will be held, and what day will be your big day. These are the biggest hurdles that you will face and the launch spot. Next you will want to set a budget. Ask your married friends how much they paid overall for their weddings and think back to how their day went if you attended. Everyone will have their ideal wedding in mind, but now you must combine that dream with what you can afford and realistically get. Shop around, as with anyother shopping there are low prices out there for good quality. If you liked something about a friend's wedding that you would like to have as well, ask them about who they hired for it and the price. Keep in mind that your married friends can be one of your biggest resources in your plans.
